Bushey Bunch Washington D.C. Trip

For the past four years I have been trying to offer a Washington, D.C. trip to my students.  This year I am so happy that I am able to make that happen for them.  However, we are struggling to fund our trip because this is a trip that is not sponsored by our school or district.  What does that mean?  It means that we cannot do any fundraising at school or during school events.  This makes it terribly difficult for my students to find ways to pay for their trip.

Even though this is proving to be a challenge, we have 21 kids and parents working tirelessly to fund their trips.  For families who are already struggling to make ends meet, this is beyond difficult, yet they're willing to make sacrafices so that their children can have this amazing experience.  Keep in mind that most of my students have never been outside the city of Lansing.

This is where you can help.  We need help.  Desperately.  We must raise $4500 in order to make this trip happen and pay off the remainder of the balance due at the end March.  We are organizing as many out of school fundraisers as we can, but with only one teacher the time constraints are challenging.  Anything you can give will be appreciated beyond words.  Your donations will help send some incredible young men and women on an adventure they will never forget.
