BUSES FOR ZAMBIA

DEAR FRIENDS,
For the last 10 years we have been busy building a clinic in Matero, on the outskirts of Lusaka (the Capital of Zambia), with facilities to handle deliveries and to keep patients up to 48h, to help the poorest segment of the local population with FREE medical care.
We are finally nearing completion of the building and are now ready to refocus on our outreach ministry, where we go out into the rural areas all over Zambia (4 times each year for 3 weeks) to bring medical, dental and eye care to the impoverished people, struggling to survive, who are basically without medical care.
To do this MORE effectively we need 2 school buses to transport our medical team as well as all the tents, food, eye glasses, meds, etc in just a couple of vehicles that can be properly maintained and are therefore much less likely to break down in the middle of nowhere.
We've found two busses in excellent shape for $5,000 a piece and need funds to ship them to Zambia for about $15,000 each. So we would like to have the funds in hand ASAP, at least by the end of the Year!
This would greatly improve our ability to not only help the people of Zambia who need it most and to bring them back to the clinic for more serious interventions.
Literally thousands of impoverished Zambian people will be so VERY, VERY THANKFUL for your sacrifices!
