Bursley Family: House Fire Recovery

On January 3, 2018, the home of Dale, Kay, Anna and Zach Bursley caught fire.

The family members who were home at the time were able to evacuate safely, but the house sustained severe damage. After contacting the insurance company, they learned the home repairs and replacement of their possessions would not be covered.

The Bursley family needs your help. If you are part of the Woodland community, you probably know this glorious family. Kay has been the director of G.W. Spindler Memorial Library for the past 10 years. She has been a volunteer at Manna's Market and the Woodland Food Co-op. Kay is also the library director at Barry County Christian School.

Dale and Kay are always willing to lend a hand to those in need. They are very active members of their church community, Hastings Church of the Nazarene.

I am their former daughter-in-law. Yes, former, but I am still very close to their family. Kay has not only been my mother-in-law, but also my friend. My children are Dale and Kay's grandkids, Zach and Anne's nephews, and they still treat me like a daughter or a sister.

Dale and Kay are two of the most selfless people I know. If your lives have been touched by their love and generosity, as mine has, I implore you to give what you can so they can work on rebuilding their home.
