Burns Family Battle Fund

Alivia Burns wife to Matt Burns and mom to Hailee, Joel, and Lukas  was diagnosed with Breast cancer a few years ago after the birth of Lukas .  Alivia had been nursing and thought she had a clogged milk duct.  After seeking medical advice she was diagnosed with breast cancer and under went a double mastectomy, chemo, and radiation and has since been in remission until Thursday Feb 8th.  Alivia was having back pains and had been told it was muscular.  After having a steroid shot a week before and no relief she then went to the ER to seek further medical help.  Alivia was told she has a tumor pushing on her spinal cord, as well as a 2cm tumor on her right frontal lobe of her brain, as well as a few spots on her skull.   Alivia started radiation treatments and then had a PET scan Thursday Feb 15th showing a large tumor in the liver as well as 3 spots on the pelvis.  Doctors are starting chemo along with radiation.  They are concerned with the tumor pressing against the spine and causing paralysis but are hoping with immediately starting radiation they will be able to shrink it before this can occur.  They have a tough battle ahead but they have Alivia's Army and God fighting the battle with them.
