Yoga Photos at Burning Man

By helping me get to Burning Man, you can get yourself some sweet services in exchange... and help lots of yogis get amazing photographs for free on the playa!

Mystory
In 2006 I went to Burning Man for the first time, and it changed my life. In 2007 I organized a group to convert a school bus to run on waste veggie oil and we drove The Vegan Bus all the way from Massachusetts to Burning Man in Black Rock City, Nevada, manifesting many miracles on the way. In 2008 I went again, this time to photograph a friends wedding and recover from a breakup.

I have not been back since 2008. I have been moving around the country pursuing my path as a yogi and living with little money. This year I was able to get a ticket, but as the event grows close I am seeing that I will not be able to fund the trip myself.

From every obstacle there is the opportunity for growth. In the time since I last went I have begun to create a beautiful portfolio of yoga photography. It is my hope to get to burning man this year and photograph every lots of yoga on the playa. As in past years, I will give photos I take to the subjects for free, by giving them a card with the image # on the back. After the burn they can email me for free digital files. I hope to create an exhibit in the fall of the best photos.
