BURNETT RESTORATION

This is David's brother's home in Hampstead NC.  
This picture was taken the day BEFORE the rivers finished cresting.  Although they love fishing, this is never quite what they had in mind.  And since they live so far inland, they have never sensed any need for flood insurance.  
David is driving to Hampstead as I type to throw his back into restoring this property as well as him mom's and dad's on Topsail Island.  He and his brother will be doing most of the work themselves.


  
So many of you, our friends, have asked how you can help.  Maybe THIS could be a great way for you? If you are able, please consider donating toward restoring--walls, insulation, appliances, systems, furniture, vehicles (!) . . . so many many things.
