Support the Burlington DevilBotz Robotics Team

Tax deductible
We are the DevilBotz: FRC Team 2876 of Burlington High School, located in Burlington, MA. We are proud to announce our upcoming season for the 2022-2023 year in the FIRST robotics program. The FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) organization is designed to foster high school students’ interest in science and technology, test a team's creativity and engineering skills, ability to work in a team environment real time and strategize during competitions. Our goal is to encourage STEM skills in young minds and to have fun while doing it.

Our team consists of roughly 30 members and 12 adult mentors who meet throughout the year to plan, construct, build, program, and test robots that participate in competitive tournaments around New England.

We are reaching out because we've lost a few corporate sponsors and do not have the funds we originally hoped for. We're attempting to reach a fundraising goal of $7,500 this year.

What do we provide to the community:

We promote STEM Education. We are probably the most active STEM club in Burlington High School to date. We teach our members valuable skills such as CAD, programming, electrical and mechanical skills such as the use of power tools and wiring.

Team members actively contribute to the community by volunteering in the Elementary Lego Robotics program. We have team members working alongside teachers as mentors every summer. We also participate in the annual Burlington Day celebration sponsored by the Recreation Department. At the event, we show science concepts through play. During this years' event, we designed rocket launchers on a push of a button. Children designed their own rockets and tested them out on the launchers we designed. We hope to generate plenty of interest in science among young children so they will hopefully consider it as a career choice in the future.

We encourage the Burlington Community to support us by making a donation. Your contribution will go towards the payment of competition fees, robot parts and transportation.

Thank you in advance and we appreciate your support of STEM programs in the community.
