Hello! We are Megan and Todd Burke, thank you for being a part of our adoption journey!
Our story began about 10 years ago when I, Megan, felt that I was being led to adopt a child. I was only 20, living with my parents and going to college, it just was not the right time. A few years passed and I met Todd, we very quickly became best friends and soon after, fell in love.
As our relationship grew, we began to talk about our future. I continued to feel led to adopt and mentioned the idea to Todd, who instantly jumped on board.
We have both felt a very strong calling to bring a baby into our home and to be a part of our lives.
Unfortunately, adoption fees are very expensive, around $35,000. While Todd and I are confident that we can financially support a child, we are unable to cover the costs of adoption by ourselves.
