Burke County Veterans KIA Committee

Burke County does not have a single monument with Burke County Veterans who were Killed in Action in past wars and with room for future wars.  This can provide closure for the families of these brave hero's.  This committee is raising funds to purchase and install the monument.  If funds are available a security system will monitor the monument.  We need about 65K to order the black stone for engraving.  Burke County Courthouse is located in the center of the county seat, Morganton.  This monument could go across from the US Constitution, The Bill of Rights, and The Declaration of Independence and this would show the price paid for all these documents by the US Military, it took a team effort to get this far.  Now we need a little bit of help to make our project a reality.  Do you think these deceased veterans deserve this form of recognition?  Please donate if you can, thank you for your time.
