Burial funds for Jayson Erickson

Donation protected
Hello Everyone. My Son Jayson Erickson passed away yesterday morning,  an autopsy was performed and his cause of death was organ failure. Jayson was 38. He has a 9 year old son named Rogan who he hasn't had much contact with but loved very dearly, I don't know the circumstances surrounding that. I do know that Jayson had been diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia 2 years ago and it has a life expectation of 5 years. Not a chance to reform his life for himself " first and for his son Rogan , which may have improved his odds at becoming a father and not just a voice over the phone that started and finished every call with "I miss you Rogan and love you very much, hope to talk to and see you soon", and reluctantly hanging up with not an ounce of hope of ever seeing Rogan. He lost a little bit of strength every day ,but no where near the amount he lost every time he called Rogan and their call ended. That lost hope led him to not caring if he lived or died. He was doing kemotherapy at an off campus site of KU Med Center in Kansas City, Kansas. My understanding of the treatment, besides what I heard straight from my Mother's doctors mouth, " we basically have to kill you to cure you" , she died the next day. And all I knewwas that the kemo was to prolong his life possibly and that if he was to go into remission he would then receive a bone marrow transplant if a donor was found and that might prolong his life a little longer. Kemo not only killed his Grandma but made her everyday life up until her death, full of pain and misery, many times my Mom would pray out loud to GOD "LORD, please take my life and don't let me or those near and dear to me suffer any more please GOD, end all this suffering ". Jayson's Grandma was a very strong woman til the kemo began as Jayson was a strong man, who I believe may have one day done something great and the thing he wanted to do most was hold and love and care for his son Rogan and be a major part of his upbringing.Yes, Jayson was my Son, and I loved him dearly, of course, I still do and always will, he will be greatly missed and I will cherish his memory forever !! My problem is I am a lowly grill cook and to be quite honest , haven't been so good at saving money and Jayson wished to be cremated and I need help to raise the money to grant him his final wish !! The money my wife and I have will be used also to cover some of the expenses involved here and truly appreciate whatever you all may be willing to donate to help me cremate ny Son. We thank you all that take the time to read this whether you donate or not and send all our love and best wishes to you and all your loved ones during these rough and troubled times with Covid-19 and Christmas 11 days away, Thank you and our prayers also go out to you and yours. Sincerely Jay and Marla Erickson
