Less than a year ago, the Burge home was totally devastated by Hurricane Matthew. With 5 feet of standing water in their house, they lost everything, including 2 vehicles and all the contents of their house.
The Burge’s were finally able to move back into their house in May of this year. They were within a week of finally getting everything in their house completed when Hurricane Irma crippled St. Augustine once again.
They had flooding in their house resulting in losing appliances - washer, dryer, kitchen appliances as well as their cabinets, walls and flooring. They also lost another vehicle.
We at First Financial Education Centers, LLC are asking you to help out any way you can during this difficult time.
