BURDEN OF FREEDOM follows the story of U.S. Army Captain Brian Daniel, a member of the 101st Airborne Division, The Screaming Eagles, who fought in the historic 2003 Battle of Najaf, Iraq, only to come home to a different kind of battle - the toughest battle of his life......PTSD. This powerful, dramatic, emotional, white knuckle suspense movie, packed with action, also contains a message of hope. Our mission and our goal is to produce a film that will help spread awareness of PTSD in an impactful, dramatic way. Our mission is to re-prioritize the issue of PTSD among our Active and Veteran Military, and force changes and improvements in the medical programs, benefits, psychological and medical help and assistance for our Vets and their families, which will help them in their paths toward recovery and their efforts toward normalcy and happiness in their lives. Since America has entered wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, PTSD has become an epidemic in this country. As Filmmakers, Actors, Artists, we are committed to helping make a difference in the lives of our Warfighters! We want to use our art and craft - Film/Cinema to create awareness! Let's join together in love and peace, and bring this message of hope to the Silver Screen!
