Greetings and a blessed holiday season to you and yours.
Our family, like many others, has run afoul of hard times. With the hardships of the pandemic pushing in on so many, we have found that we need to reach out to our community and beyond. Our landlord has chosen to not allow us to renew our lease and my family is being forced to seek new housing accommodations at short notice. We now have until the 31st of January to leave our home of four years and seek a new home.
While we have been working to improve our credit to purchase a home, we have not been successful. We have run hard into the design flaw in the credit system, by having no established debt, most lenders are not willing to put us in debt. Between being a single income family of seven and a cat (myself, my amazing home-schooling wife Lindsay, and our five children Laura, Zach, Westley, Cale, Sam, and Rohan the cat) and the harshness of the times we have not succeeded in getting everything in place fast enough. As such, any help you can provide would be a late Christmas miracle. We had been working towards a small property, with just enough space for my little girl to no longer need to share a room with any of her brothers and enough yard for them to play outside.
Any funds we receive will be used solely for relocation, either the purchase of the property and related moving expenses, down payment assistance to convince a lender to help us even with our underdeveloped credit, or failing meeting our goal to pay for initial deposits for a rental property while we continue to strive to give our young children the space they need.
