Bunny's Thyroid Cancer Surgery

Tax deductible
Bunny was driven to a local shelter and surrendered, freshly groomed. Maybe her departing owner thought it would help her get adopted. Maybe this person loved Bunny and wanted to give her the best chance to make it out alive in a city  where unwanted dogs get euthanized every single day.  We'll never really know for sure. But this is what we do know~  Bunny is 11 years old.  She has a passion for life, a bottomless affection and capacity to snuggle, a happy aura immediately absorbed by those in her company. Bunny is a living, breathing smile.  We know, although she may have been loved at some point in her life, Bunny didn't receive good care. She wasn't spayed and two of her teeth fell out into the doctor's hand while she was examining Bunny's mouth.  And~ most urgently~ we know Bunny has a thyroid tumor which is slowly strangling her. Her surgeon at GCVS is confident she can remove it to save Bunny's life. There's no evidence of widespread disease, and we know Bunny has many years ahead of her to live in comfort~ safe, loved, cared for and bringing joy to everyone she encounters. Bunny's surgery will be $4000, but without it she won't survive the year. Please consider giving this special little snowflake soul the gift of continued life by making a contribution of any amount. Thank you.
