Hi, my name is Gemma and I'm raising funds for the ongoing veterinary treatment for our boy Bunker.

He is a Cornish Rex and is 5 years old.

Last week he was taken into the vets with dehydration and a high temperature. Since then he has been diagnosed with fluid on the lungs, which is being drained but keeps returning. And scans have shown other complications with his diaphragm.

The plans are now to go ahead with a CT scan and endoscopy with a high possibility of being followed by a more complicated surgery.

Update #1

CT scan showed a foreign object in his body. So immediate plans were made to have open chest surgery and partial removal of the left lung.

He is out of surgery now and is in recovery. His temperature is erratic but he is on antibiotics. He is however eating by himself! Which is great news!
