Friends and family,

As you know, we lost sweet Joshua yesterday, January 13, 2016. Joshua lived 69 days and he did not waste a single moment. God used Joshua every day of his life. I am confident that his story touched each one of us in a unique and personal way.

Should you have had the opportunity to witness this beautiful family, or follow them through social media, I am sure you have felt the joy that radiates from their stories. You can learn so much about Jesus through this family.

Nathan and Bayley loved and served one another in countless ways throughout the last two months. Nathan has been a steadfast father: dedicating his strength and time to sustain his wife and son. Bayley has been a faithful mother: showing tender love and selfless devotion to their Joshua. Together, they committed every minute of their time to make sure Joshua was comfortable and that his needs were met. It was something immensely beautiful to witness. We can all know Jesus through their love. 

During a recent conversation, I asked Bayley how she and Nathan are going to approach recovery and healing after losing Joshua. She shared their desire to go on a trip, seek counseling, and invest in memorializing Joshua.

With your help, I would like to give them time to reflect, grieve, and be alone together with the Lord. Your donations will go towards their emotional well-being as they pursue healing during this season of grieving and remembrance.

Bayley and Nathan have requested that 10% of the proceeds go towards Cure SMA to assist with further research in hope of finding a cure.
