Bullied Breeds Rescue Medical Cases

Bullied Breeds Rescue took on 3 dogs who need major medical attention this fall, and we need your help! We are still a very new organization and have done our best to help as many dogs as we can without asking for financial help from our wonderful community of followers. But these dogs were too special to say no to and we know you’ll help us when you hear their stories!

Babs (pictured left): Babs was found as a stray and had clearly been overbred for years upon years. She now has numerous tumors on her mammory glands which need to be removed, as well as a large growth on her vulva. Prior to any of these procedures, we will also be doing an x-ray to ensure there isn’t more cancer throughout her body. Her surgeries will total around $1500. Update: Babs unfortunately passed after her first surgery. She was much older than we initially though (likely about 13) and her body couldn’t pull through. We are devastated but we are so happy she had the last few months in a loving home ❤️

Oscar (pictured bottom): Oscar was found as a stray and has clearly endured years of neglect. He has already gone through multiple surgeries, including one to remove his entire spleen which had a large cancerous mass on it. He will likely still need ear surgery to treat his chronic ear infections, and may be completely deaf following surgery. He will also need eye drops for the rest of his life. His surgeries have already totaled over $2000, but  we couldn't say no to helping this sweet, gentle & meaty soul find his happy ending. He has a long road ahead but all he wants is to be loved and to feel better!

Tyson (pictured right): Tyson was part of a court case and through no fault of his own, was forced to spend 5 months in an animal control facility. Luckily he had some awesome people in his corner and is now living a cushy life in his foster home. However, Tyson has an unexplained lameness in his front leg. He has had x-rays and seen multiple vets with no answers. He is now off to an orthopedic specialist in search of answers & also starting water therapy for some immediate relief. We expect to invest over $500 in Tyson’s care in the next few weeks but will do everything we can to get him the care needed! Update: Tyson has been adopted and continues to receive hydro therapy to help him heal and be a strong boy!

We have only been operating as a rescue for 5 months with limited funds so any donation will help make an impact.  These dogs are wonderful animals, and amazing breed ambassadors who we are so honored to help! Taking on these medical case was a risk but we know we can count on our loyal followers to get us through!! We can't thank you enough for your support!

About Bullied Breeds Rescue Inc:
We are fighting for a world where every breed of dog is given an equal opportunity at a happy ending and is no longer subject to breed-based discrimination. We aim to create awareness in our communities and change people's preconceived notions about certain breeds of dogs such as rottweilers, pit bulls, shepherds and many more. We promise to never give up. We will do everything we can to give as many local dogs as possible a chance at a happy ending free of discrimination!
