Jordyn Hawkins: What a trooper! That smile.....WOW! He's been cleared for cervical collar removal, and has moved back home under the care of his mom, Deandrea Wade and therapists! As we all know, being at home is ALWAYS better! He's working hard every day to get better. Jordyn attended AHS's HOMECOMING game as an honorary captain and took the the field with his beloved Bulldogs and to a ROUSING round of applause from both AUSTIN & BUSH fans!
One of our own Austin Bulldogs, JORDYN HAWKINS, is a 15 year old FBISD Austin Bulldog football player that suffered a serious spinal cord injury last week (9/12/19) that has resulted in emergency surgery and an extended stay in ICU. Donations form this account will go directly to Jordyn's parents in support of his long road of recovery.
Every single penny goes straight to Jordyn's family to help with medical bills. $20 parking at the Houston Medical Center, hospital food costs, therapy, care for Jordyn's siblings and loss of income for his parents as they are by his side as much as allowed. The stress of Jordyn's hopefully temporary paralysis is obviously weighing heavily on Jordyn and his family - continued support from our Bulldog family and friends will help tremendously.
Your continued prayers and where able, financial support, will help Jordyn's family as he works on his recovery towards WALKING AGAIN!
