Build-your-own first aid for the unhoused

Limestone Medic Collective, a group of street medics in the Bloomington area, is raising money to purchase supplies for build-your-own first aid kits for local unhoused folks. This is especially important as we enter winter and law enforcement continues to make life harder for our unhoused friends.

We compiled the following list based on needs communicated at a Bloomington Homeless Coalition meeting and plan to distribute approximately 40 kits as soon as we gather the funds and receive the supplies. People will be able to build their own kits from the available supplies.

We will keep records and be accountable to those who help make this effort possible. We will post here and on our social media @limestone_medic as we gather and distribute.

A little more about LMC: We provide medical aid as a political statement. We are activists using our knowledge and skills to further the movement. During demonstrations and every day, we prioritize giving care to those most in need and most left out by medical institutions.
