Building Baby Mo - Beating Infertility

Hi all! We are Kevin & Rachael and we are here sharing our infertility journey in the hopes of being able to fund a happy ending to our story. We are college sweethearts, together for over ten years, married for 6.5. After our 07/07/07 wedding we decided to start a family.

When we decided to start a family we never imagined that we would be on such a long and at times dark path. Even though we are blessed to have insurance through our employers, infertility treatments are not covered at all. In early 2008 I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). My ovaries will not ovulate without medical intervention. We have tried numerous treatments and medications over the years. At the advice of my Reproductive Endocrinologist (RE), we have set our sites on one last attempt with In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). His belief is that without IVF, we will not be able to have a biological child.

As we have spent many years exhausting our own funds, we are hoping and praying to raise enough funds to cover our last try before moving to adoption. Having a baby would mean the world to us. I can't even put into words how much we both want this.
