Hallo, mein Name ist Mirjam und seit ich ein kleines Mädchen war, habe ich einen grossen Traum.

Das gespendete Geld fliesst an die Firma Mirjam Dunkel Wildland Horsemanship und wird vollumfänglich für die Verwirklichung unseres Projekts eingesetzt. Du unterstützt damit unser Startup in den Bereichen Pferde – resp. Menschenausbildung sowie Gästehäuser.

Was sind die Ziele des Projekts, welches ich unterstützen werde?

Unser Ziel ist es, ab 2023/2024 in Colorado (USA) ein eigenes Grundstück zu kaufen, auf dem wir leben, Pferde und Menschen ausbilden und in kleinen Cabins Gäste beherbergen dürfen.

Das Land der unbegrenzten Möglichkeiten steht für uns immer noch für FREIHEIT und bietet für Pferdebesitzer und Naturliebhaber viel mehr Möglichkeiten, als das, was die Schweiz aufgrund der engen Platzverhältnisse heute noch zulässt.

Auch die Rettung von Mustangs aus den Auffangstationen des BLM (Bureau of Land Management) sowie deren Training/Ausbildung und die spätere Weitervermittlung an einen guten Platz, ist ein Ziel von uns. Aufgrund von Überpopulation werden immer wieder wilde Mustangs eingefangen, um die Population zu kontrollieren, da sie sonst zu wenig Nahrung hätten. Die Mustangs werden in den Auffangstationen registriert, geimpft, mit einem Chip versehen, die Hufe bearbeitet und natürlich mit Heu versorgt. Nachdem sie ihren typischen „Freezebrand“ erhalten haben, werden sie getrennt nach Stuten, Hengsten und Jungpferden aufgeteilt. Die Hengste werden nach einiger Zeit kastriert. Danach können die Mustangs adoptiert werden. Die Mustangs haben in den Auffangstationen kein schönes Leben. Mit einer Adoption kann ich sie vor dem Schlachter retten.

The donated money goes to the company Mirjam Dunkel Wildland Horsemanship and will be fully used for the realization of our project. You support our startup in the areas of horse and human training as well as guest houses.

What are the goals of the project I will support?

Our goal is to buy our own property in Colorado (USA) starting in 2023/2024, where we will be allowed to live, train horses and people and accommodate guests in small cabins.

The land of unlimited possibilities still stands for FREEDOM for us and offers much more possibilities for horse owners and nature lovers than what Switzerland allows today due to the tight space conditions.

We also aim to rescue mustangs from the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) sanctuaries, train them and then place them in good homes. Due to overpopulation, wild mustangs are repeatedly captured to control the population, otherwise they would not have enough food. The mustangs are registered in the capture centers, vaccinated, chiped, their hooves are worked on and of course they are provided with hay. After they have received their typical "freezebrand", they are divided separately into mares, stallions and young horses. The stallions are castrated after some time. After that, the mustangs can be adopted. The mustangs do not have a nice life in the rescue centers. With an adoption I can save them from the butcher.
