Tennis Court for Wraysbury Community

Donation protected
We've got a hundred and something  junior tennis players loving their tennis, learning, competing and developing all the time. But, we've lost our base. Not having our own tennis courts means we're beholdent to when courts are available at other facilities, so we've decided to build our own base.

We want more juniors enjoying to learn to play tennis, so we're building our own base in Wraysbury next door to the football fields and close to the cricket field.

We're starting with a single tennis court and by our close location to other local sporting facilities, we are forming the Wraysbury Sports Association.

Our aim is to get more children active, and enjoy a range of sports with their friends and families, and come together socially to enjoy all aspects of local sport.

Our aim is to build a tennis court with floodlights and a dedicated coaching wall. We also hope to have a sheltered, social area for all spectators. We have our existing base until the end of March 2021, so the clock is ticking. With a build-time of 4 weeks, we need to get moving right away. Every penny will help, so please help us keep junior tennis alive in Wraysbury.

We will need more than our stated target, but we have a grant application underway with the Lawn Tennis Association, for which we anticipate a match-funding clause, hence the need to start our fund-raising campaign.
