<div>Hi, my name is Savannah, and I am starting this fundraiser for my dad, Scott Llewellyn.

<div>In July, our family’s world was turned upside down. My dad was diagnosed with high-grade aggressive bladder cancer. His tumor was large, aggressive, and had spread across the bladder lining with carcinoma in situ (CIS). Pathology showed it wasn’t just ordinary bladder cancer and the cells had started to change into glandular and squamous types, making it even more aggressive and harder to treat.

<div>Since July 14, 2025, Dad has already undergone two bladder surgeries (TURBTs) as doctors tried to remove as much cancer as possible. The second surgery confirmed that while the cancer has not yet invaded the muscle, it is still considered very high risk for spreading. Because of this, his doctors have recommended the strongest treatment available: a radical cystectomy. Before performing this surgery, he will have a CT chest and a CT IVP scan to make sure the cancer has not spread.

<div>This will be a major surgery at WVU under the Chairman of Urology, Dr. Steven Campbell. The surgery will remove his bladder, prostate, and lymph nodes. This will be a major lifestyle change. Surgery will last 9+ hours, and recovery is expected to take at least 3 months. Dad will be in the hospital for at least a week, and then homebound for months. During this time, he will not be able to work, and all time off is unpaid.

<div>Dad previously ran his own construction business, but due to health issues over the last two years, he had to step back. Looking back, we now realize many of those struggles were early symptoms of his cancer. He still works in construction today, but not on his own, and he has help to manage the workload.
</div>

<div>This has already created a financial strain on my parents. Between medical bills, long trips back and forth to Morgantown, recovery costs, and multiple weeks off work it has become very difficult to keep up with normal household expenses. As a single parent myself, I help however I can, but I wish I could take away their financial worries so they can focus only on Dad’s healing.

<div>My dad has always been the rock of our family; a husband, father, grandfather, and the greatest person I know. He has always been there for us, and now it’s our turn to be there for him.
</div>

</div>
<div>We are humbly asking for help, whether it’s through a donation, sharing this page, or keeping him in your prayers. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward his medical bills, travel costs, supplies, and living expenses.
