<div>This summer, youth and families from Willow Glen UMC and the Joint Youth Ministry (JYM) are heading to Mexico to build a home for a family in need—with the help of Amor Ministries.

<div>Over the course of a week, we’ll work side-by-side—ages 10 to 65—mixing cement, raising walls, and sharing meals as we build a simple, sturdy two-room house for a family living on the outskirts of Tijuana. We’ll sleep in tents, and trade comfort for community, hard work, and purpose.

<div>But this trip isn’t just about building a house. It’s about building compassion, leadership, and connection. For all of us, this is a life-changing experience—where faith becomes real, and service becomes personal.  The world feels challenging right now and we believe that in challenging times we are called to learn, bring hope and build community across borders.
