Building Cat Houses For Local Strays

Hi my name is Rayven Sterner, I am a senior at Brandon High School and a part of the Brandon High School: Intro To Home Construction class. I am raising money to gain funding for a project that is near and dear to my heart but cannot be funded by my school due to COVID-19, which has caused large budget cuts to many areas but especially to electives such as this. I am raising money to buy materials and supplies to build outdoor cat homes for local strays and feral cat colonies in Oakland County. I foster kittens from these cat colonies, however most of these  older cats want nothing to do with people and would be miserable in a home. They may want nothing from us, but that doesn't mean they don't need our help, winter is coming and they're fur is simple not enough to protect them. Building these houses will help discourage them from inhabiting abandoned house, the underneath of trailers, or wherever they hide to protect themselves. Everyone deserves a home, including these creatures and I want to work to make that happen! I am grateful for anything you can donate, and I know the cats who get these homes do as well!
