We are proud to be a charted post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars since 1953. Because of many factors that have occurred over the long and short term, such as the passing of veterans of the WWII, Korean and Vietnam Wars and now, the COVID-19 pandemic, staying financially viable is a continuing struggle.
As a non-profit organization, your donation is tax deductible.
The building that we operate from needs variety of different maintenance and upgrade projects. Recently, someone made an attempt to break into the building by ramming an SUV into the front entrance. Although the insurance will pay for the majority of the damages, there is still a $1,000 deductible to be paid. Our hall that we use to host many different events for local community and members needs to have the lighting and air condition upgraded. Also repair/replacement of our front signage and repairs to our parking lot. The ice maker for the cantten is on it's last leg.

The VFW traces its roots back to 1899 when veterans of the Spanish-American War (1898) and the Philippine Insurrection (1899-1902) founded local organizations to secure rights and benefits for their service.
The VFW provides numerous services to military service members and their families"
• MAP has helped fund Farewell and Welcome Home gatherings for military units worldwide.
• Operation Uplink provides free, pre-paid phone cards to service members.
• Unmet Needs can give a one-time grant up to $1,500 for qualifying service members and their families experiencing financial hardship.
We also donate our facilities to our local New York State Air and Army National Guard units.
