<div><strong>Friendship, Commitment, and Partnership Bring a School to Fruition</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On a trip to South Africa, eight friends visited Khayelitsha, a township near Cape Town, for a service project at the Nokwanda Educare Centre, a preschool or “crèche.” The school’s director, Nokwanda, and two other teachers were very dedicated to providing the young children with good academic programs – and serving the Khayelitsha community with activities and health care programs for older children and adults.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>However, the facility, which was constructed of the most basic materials, was overcrowded and needed safety improvements to the building. We committed to supporting the Nokwanda Educare Center with a new school building, and the non-profit Project YES Africa was born.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Construction began a few months ago, using innovative eco-friendly technology and local workers from the township wherever possible. The foundation, framing, and roofing have been completed, and the construction work continues. Project YES Africa has already raised 80% of the funds needed for the new school; we're in the home stretch now! Every charitable contribution brings us closer to allowing the preschoolers to return to a safer, expanded learning environment and allowing Nokwanda to serve more children.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>We need YOUR support to raise the remaining US$15,000 to complete this vital project. Your charitable contribution of any amount makes a significant difference in the lives of many children. <strong>Can we count on you to make an impact for a generation of children in this community? Don’t wait; give today!</strong> Thank you in advance for your donation!
