Building a home for those in need

We are volunteers with Camp Cambodia and are teaching English in schools over the course of three weeks. The opportunity has arisen for us to build a house for some of those most in need. In order to build this house, we need £1500, and with that we will be able to buy the necessary materials and help to hand build the house. The house will be for a single father with three children, and a struggling couple. They are amongst the poorest of the poor and are living under scrap metal housing, which floods during the heavy rains of monsoon season. We've fundraised to help provide food for people living in the slums, and to be able to provide housing for some of those suffering most would be a big step in the right direction, and a great start to helping everyone in need. The house will be built on the 27th and 28th of this month, June. This limits the time available for fundraising, but we hope to meet our target and be able to help these people. Any donation, no matter how small, will help us to make a difference and all are greatly appreciated.
