<div>Instead of waiting for life to become perfect again, I'm choosing to keep building regardless of the recent hurdles that have been placed in my path.

<div>Yes, I realize the goal is ambitious. Finding myself in the midst of multiple, publicized and ongoing and extremely public legal battles, my need to adequately defend myself has resulted in mounting legal fees.

<div>Since my cancer diagnosis, in May of this year, <span> I have had to step away from the stage and my classroom while I face treatment and healing. </span>
