Only one week left!! And we are halfway through the campaign!! Thank you donors! Welcome for a gala night in Gula Villan, Järna on the 13th April to close the campaign and to experience Kenyan music! And to get the last pennies together to make this possible for the Humane School!!
This Steiner/ Waldorf school in Kenya is on a rented premise. The classrooms are tiny, only 10 m2!
We can't develop the school because the school doesn't own the land.
Now we have found the perfect place for the school! It is nearby, and it has both nature values and space enough for the school! We want to improve the plot sustainably by turning it into organic farming and helping the biotop by taking away the blue gum trees and planting more indigenous species.
Every contribution takes us closer to the goal, and you "own" a piece of the school in Kenya!
In April 2019 we have the possibility to buy the plot! Only 12380€ missing today 4th of April!!!
We need space to develop an organic farm which is both educational and will give the children school lunches.
The Humane School, a school which want to educate children for the future, teaching them skills in arts, craft and music along with the academic skills. The school uses the worldwide Steiner/Waldorf curriculum, and give thereby high quality education in a traditional farming society in the village Maili Saba, in western Kenya.
The school focus on teaching the children organic farming for a sustainable farming in the future.
