<div>A year ago, I became homeless for the first time — right here in Bend, Oregon. I've been living in motels ever since, working a physically demanding retail job while managing Hashimoto's disease. My two ESA cats, Pip and Squeak, have kept me going.

</div>
<div>Before this happened to me, I worked nights at a local homeless shelter. I saw the system from the inside — and when it was my turn, I discovered how truly scattered and confusing the resources really are. That experience gave birth to Our Clear Haven.

</div>
<div>I'm building a free mobile app with an AI guide named Crystal — a compassionate, voice-enabled navigator designed to speak plain language, point you to verified resources near you, and never make you feel judged. She's being built to work offline, for the exact moments when everything feels overwhelming. The app is in development, with its first launch planned for Central Oregon. The free resource directory is already live at ourclearhaven.org.

<div>To launch this app, I need one thing first: stable housing. Getting off the motel treadmill lets me leave my retail job and build full-time. Your support goes directly toward:
</div>
<div>- A stable place to live and reliable internet
</div>
<div>- Basic living expenses while I build
</div>
<div>- Getting the first version live in Central Oregon
</div>

<div>Every donation makes you a Founder. Give any amount and you're part of the Our Clear Haven Founders Club, with the same benefits for everyone. Our GRANDE GRAND goal: 1,000 Founders giving $100 each — $100,000 to fund the first year and launch the app.
</div>

</div>
<div>Your support doesn't just help me. It helps build a tool that can keep thousands of people from falling through the same cracks. Pip, Squeak, and I are deeply grateful for anything you can give — and for sharing this with your network.

<div>Please note: this GoFundMe is organized by me, George Scharfetter, and I am its beneficiary. Our Clear Haven does not yet have 501(c)(3) status or a fiscal sponsor, so donations are not tax-deductible.

<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
