Hello, dance friends!
Many of you are familiar with the dream we have had of building the greatest dance studio ever. We have been hard at work and that dream is almost a reality, but we need your help to make it happen!
We began planning District Dance Academy years ago. Construction began on June 1st of this year; the contractor told us he needed a few weeks to finish everything, and our scheduled opening date was August 1st. Everything else is ready to go. We have gathered together an elite team of instructors and staff to make District Dance Academy the most incredible dance studio in the world.
Unfortunately, the contractor has been taking months to do things that should have taken weeks, and we are running out of options. We’ve been hard at work night and day picking up the slack, and we’ve even had amazing volunteers from the local dance community pitching in to paint and complete many other tasks. The finish line is in sight, but we have been paying rent on an unusable 11,000 sq ft studio for the past several months and we are running short on funds.
Now we turn to the dance community for crowdfunding. We are offering thank-you gifts to those who donate, including an exclusive shirt! Scroll down below the progress pictures for details. We are on the verge of opening a wonderful studio that will provide world-class training in several styles of dance and unite multiple dance communities. District Dance Academy is a place where we will all come together for one purpose: to become stronger together. Your donations can help us make the dream a reality. You can help build the District!
