<div>Over three years ago, these Iranian women ignited one of the most successful civil movements of our time, and today, they face unprecedented violence and complex political crossfire.

<div>The people of Iran want the dignity of living in a free, inclusive, secular, and democratic society, dismantled of its theocracy. They demand an end to the state's machinery of killing and repression, the right to determine their own future without foreign interference, and the freedom to build a country committed to justice, human rights, and gender equality.

<div>At this critical moment, the Iranian people are facing two twinned dangers:
