<div>Auntie Angie’s house was a 1929 Victorian-style home sitting directly in the heart of the historic and landmark King District in Atlanta, Georgia until it was unexpectedly burned to the ground and destroyed as reported by <a href="https://www.fox5atlanta.com/video/1152038" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Fox 5 News</a>.

<div><a href="https://www.theakf.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">American King Foundation</a> took on Auntie Angie's House as a rehabilitation project. Taking a sore eye in the community and transforming it into an oasis for pregnant women facing an unplanned pregnancy, with no family support, and modest or no education. Yet they have a dream and chose life.

<div>The 6,000 square foot, three-story Safe House boasted nine- bedrooms nine- bathrooms (double occupancy) En-suite, a chef's kitchen (Alveda's Kitchen), a parlor, a physician’s exam room, spacious dining, an educational training room, community space, private birthing room, playground and Garden.

<div>Auntie Angie’s House was set to provide life skills, parenting classes, and occupational training for its female occupants during and after pregnancy to ensure they're fully equipped for motherhood and the workplace. With transportation to nearby houses of worship, medical facilities, outdoor activities and educational programs.
