<div>Growing up between the Philippines and Australia, I saw firsthand the stark reality of so many dogs and cats in the Philippines. Neglect, starvation, homelessness, abuse.

<div>From as young as I can remember, I wanted to do something about the harrowing situation in the Philippines. With an estimated 12 million strays across the country, I know I can’t save them all. But as the saying goes, “as one person I cannot change the world, but I can change the world of one person”, or in this case, pawson.

</div>
<div>I have already rescued a number of stray dogs and cats, but without a shelter there's only so much I can do. The next step is to build a home for these vulnerable animals. With plans already underway for a shelter on my home island of Camiguin, I'm humbly knocking on your hearts to help us raise the initial amount to construct the fence and shelter buildings.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>The fence alone is going to cost around $2000 AUD, and we also need to build some very simple structures to provide shelter from the weather for the animals.
