Help build homes in rural Costa Rica

Hello, my name is Chad Johnson. Several months ago I started a volunteer organization with a close friend of mine, Pat McLoughlin.
Our organization, Build Abroad, aims to build and repair communities in developing countries. Earlier this year we took our first trip to Costa Rica and helped repair a women’s shelter. It was a great, fulfilling experience to see how we could personally make a difference in a community through construction volunteering.
In March 2015, we plan on returning with a larger group to build a home for a needy family in the town of San Ramon. We‘re almost done planning the trip and organizing volunteers, but we need your help in funding resources and materials.
All donations raised will go directly towards this group trip. If we are able to meet our goal of $5,000, we will also open a scholarship and invite a college student to join us. Their trip costs will be completely covered and we will continue the scholarship on a yearly basis.
