<div>We're raising <strong>€10,000</strong> (120,000SEK) to foster human connection and create a more compassionate world!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><a href="https://www.hejhumans.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>HejHumans</strong></a> was born a year ago to tackle the growing disconnection in society by creating spaces for real human connection.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Through our <strong>"Heart Meetings"</strong>—workshops centered on eye contact, deep listening, and heartfelt conversations—we’ve helped hundreds feel truly seen, heard, and appreciated. We believe that fostering connection can reduce conflict, and build a world rooted in trust and understanding.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since we started, HejHumans has grown into an organisation conducting workshops and projects in Sweden, Germany, Croatia, Poland and the Netherlands! We are constantly working to expand and foster more connections, and we need your help!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our goal is to raise €10,000 to create more free workshops and events, expand research on human connection, and inspire more people through free resources and content.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div><strong>Whatever you can donate will help; even 5€ will enable us to provide connections to more people!</strong>

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every euro will help us bring our free workshops to more communities, reach more people, and grow a global movement of connection and care!

<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our Story</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One year ago we started <strong>HejHumans</strong>. We were two guys who noticed how people in society were drifting apart, finding it harder to connect, listen, and truly understand each other. From knowledge of different fields that we have, we created an antidote to this growing disconnection that we call "Heart Meetings".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><a href="https://www.hejhumans.org/heart-meetings" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Heart Meetings</a> are workshops where we speak to each other's hearts and create a place of trust, care and curiosity together. Through activities like eye contact and heartfelt conversations, we create spaces to focus on what unites us—our shared feelings, needs, and desires. We focus on inner needs, emotions and meaningful questions in our lives such as:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>What makes us feel loved?
</li>
<li>What makes us come alive?
</li>
<li>What do we really dream about?
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>“Experiencing ´Heart Meetings´ is such a powerful experience. After just a few times participating I noticed how much more open I was to expressing myself to others and encouraging their expression as well.”</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>-Workshop participant, Sweden</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"Heart Meetings" are built on proven methods such as A<a href="https://authenticrelating.co/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">uthentic Relating</a> and <a href="https://www.cnvc.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Nonviolent Communication</a> , as well as scientific studies in <a href="https://positivepsychology.com/what-is-positive-psychology-definition/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">positive psychology</a> and the effects of different connection practices.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This process fosters genuine connection by allowing you to glimpse the inner world of another person—their joys, struggles, and dreams. Often, you discover how much you have in common, realizing that the things you love and struggle with are shared human experiences. It reminds us that, despite our differences, we are deeply alike and can navigate life’s ups and downs together.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What began as a simple idea has grown into a network of people across Europe that are helping us reach more people! Our co-founder Baltazar moved to Berlin to create more connections and collaborations with universities and organisations. We’re now collaborating with universities, like <a href="https://lu.ma/snzinxtg" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Krakow university</a> , and researchers, like psychology researcher <a href="https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Aleksandra-Piejka" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Aleksandra Piejka</a> to get empirical insights into our methods and develop them further.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our different ways of creating connection:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li><a href="https://www.hejhumans.org/heart-meetings" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Heart Meeting workshops</strong></a> <strong>: </strong>Through our thoroughly designed, science based and tested "Heart Meetings" we create a space of trust and curiosity and explore what it is to be human.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li><strong>Online content and inspiration:</strong> We regularly create videos and content on social media to inspire connection between people.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li><a href="https://www.hejhumans.org/public-presence" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>A Moment Of Presence</strong></a> Offering pop-up spaces to connect in public places.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We also got picked up by <a href="https://www.sydsvenskan.se/2023-07-23/de-tittar-framlingar-i-ogonen-for-en-battre-varld" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Swedish news</a> for our innovative way of creating connections!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have been working on this without earning any money because we want to make it available to everybody free of charge. We've been covering the cost of renting spaces ourselves, and our goal has always been, and remains, to keep our workshops and events free for everyone. That’s why we need your support!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our long-term goal is to establish these spaces all around the world. Imagine a future where every city has workshops and safe spaces for meaningful human connection!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now is the time to build a world rooted in trust rather than fear. More than ever, we need to find ways to connect, truly listen to one another, and create spaces where everyone feels heard and understood.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We believe that every person longs for connection. In a world that feels increasingly divided, we aim to unite around what we share as humans—because we are far more alike than we are different.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Every donation, no matter how small, helps us connect more people.</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Just €5 can make a difference!</strong>
