Build a well for Zahia Hechaoui

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله تعالى وبركاته
“Peace be upon you and God’s mercy and blessings.”

I start by praising Allah and the one who all praise belongs to and by praise and salutations to his beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un
“Surely we belong to Allah and to him we shall return.”

Our beloved grandmother, sadly passed away yesterday leaving behind a massive and loving family. Unfortunately,  around two months ago, Zahia suddenly became very unwell and very quickly. We hoped that the lockdown restrictions in Algeria would ease up and open their borders in order to see her before anything happened. And so, me and my family are in complete disbelief that we never got to say our last goodbyes. 

We will miss her smile, her presence and her wisdom. And we will forever be grateful for the memories we created and all that she has done. Which is why we would like to build a well in her name as sadaqah jariyah, giving back for all shes done, something she will benefit from for the years to come.
