Hi, My name is Steve, my passion is helping people to overcome trauma, disease and mental health issues using healing techniques, meditation and Qigong (energy-work). I recently purchased a property with land in the mountains close to Monchique in Portugal where I am renovating a mud / stone ruin. This far I have invest in the region of 40k Euros of my own money and have almost completed the entire roof, plus 3 of the 6 rooms but there is still a lot of work to do, including; the very important task of clearing the back of the house and building a retaining wall to redirect rain water away from the house (last year one of the rooms flooded), irrigation to allow growing fruit and vegetables, fencing to keep wild boar out, the completion of the 3 remaining rooms, the construction of a Dojo next to the stream, steps to allow visitors to walk around the land.

My aim is to invite people to stay in the peace and quiet of Casa Shen, to connect with themselves and with the help of a daily routine of Qigong and Meditation practice along with direct healing sessions. I would like to give people the tools to live a life of emotional abundance devoid of fear and worry.

Any donations I receive will go towards; building material, gardening tools, irrigation equipment (pipes, pumps etc), gaining more healing skills and ensuring that Casa Shen (www.qigongportugal.com) is warm, dry and welcoming to people who need my help.
