Build a new tiny home for Asta Kalmann!

Donation protected
The second week of September 2020, the west coast of the United States underwent violent winds that tore through an already dry landscape, bringing down power lines and starting dozens of fires that would grow rapidly in size. As of Saturday, the Riverside Fire had already burned across more than 10% of Clackamas County.*

Near to the Riverside Fire, the Dowty Road fire burned Asta Kalmann's home to the ground. She had lived in this beloved cabin - an uninsured structure - for 31 years. Although this is clearly a time of grief and loss, we would like to gather resources now, for her to build a simple and cozy new tiny home on her land once the smoke clears.

*For more information about the fire, please see the articles below:

Many thanks to Lia Johnston, Helve Kalmann, and Erik Maurer for collaborative assistance! And thanks to Philip Morlier for the suggestion.
