<div><strong>There was a moment when we thought we wouldn’t make it.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After 9 years, our beloved shelter — home to hundreds of wagging tails, muddy paws, and stories of survival — had to shut its gates for good.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The property was put up for sale and, after three years of temporary extensions, we had no choice but to pack up and go.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The good news?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We found a new place. It’s a 6-month rental for now, but if all goes well, we can make it our permanent home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It’s close to the city, close to the sea. And it’s already fenced — which makes a big difference when it comes to keeping our dogs safe.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now we just need to… turn it into a real shelter.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>We’re building:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>– 15 covered kennels (4x2 m)</em>
</div>
<div><em>– 2 large yards with shaded areas</em>
</div>
<div><em>– A simple kitchen</em>
</div>
<div><em>– A small bathroom</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A real refuge. Safe. Dignified. Ready to welcome our dogs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The total cost? Around €15,000.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A huge amount for us — but we know that, together, we can make it happen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>If you’d like to lend a hand, now is the time.</strong>
</div>
