ABOUT Alsabeel
Alsabeel center was established in 2002, as community center with a Masjid (mosque), school, youth group, interfaith workshops, community/social services, outreach, and other activities.
When Alsabeel center started we rented a building on 48 Golden Gate San Francisco, CA 94102. In 2012 we bought a building on 118 Jones St San Francisco, CA 94102.
Our community is made up of 700 members of diverse backgrounds.
Al Sabeel Center welcomes Muslims and Non Muslims, and people of all different backgrounds. We provide religious and social services and work with different communities dedicated to peace and justice in the Bay Area.
PURCHASING A BUILDING FOR A MASJID
In 2012, Alsabeel was able to purchase a building for a Masjid with interest-Free Payment. We made an offer to the owner to purchase the building with the amount of one million dollars free of interest and pay it over the period of seven years.
We purchased it for $1,050,000 dollars. We paid $420,000 dollars we need to pay $630,000 dollars.
We need help with the remaining payment.
