The Balochistan province has the lowest literacy rate in Pakistan. 78 percent of girls of school-going age are out of school. We are starting a school for girls in Tribal regions that will give education to those who can't afford it. Ali and Safia (Co-founders of Reactistan) both having roots in the Tribal Regions of Balochistan, understand how much impact a Free Girls School can make. Girls' education is considered less important and poor families overlook it due to financial reasons and as a result, girls don't get educated and the vicious cycle of poverty continues. Girls who do get educated and start earning get more empowered, and have more freedom to be successful.
About Reactistan Reactistan has brought the beautiful tribes of Pakistan in front of the world through their Youtube Channel and at the same time introduced the world to Pakistani tribal people via food from the biggest cities and cultures of the world. Check out our work on youtube. https://youtube.com/c/REACTistan Not only has Reactistan changed the perspective of its audience, but it has also created a huge impact in the communities. Female participants have started earning and they are empowered and hence respected in their community. Through this channel and the support viewers, Reactistan has done phenomenal work in the community. They have renovated a school, distributed rations during covid, when work was halted in the communities, distributed new shoes, and jackets to kids of poor families, and now their next biggest mission is to make education accessible to the tribal girls. So that the next generation can have access to better opportunities.
