Bugs Go Back To Title 1 Schools

41332718_1565823684977356_r.jpegSaveNature.Org’s Insect Discovery Lab  brings living awe to classrooms, changing the lives of young students to love science and nature - forever. This intimate hands-on program is fee based and reaches more than 38,000 students annually presenting more than 800 programs. But funding is scarce for Title 1 schools and the need is great for bringing science to the classroom.

In the past SaveNature.Org has used scholarship grants to offer free programs to undeserved inner-city elementary schools. We have requests right now from  Sanchez Elementary and other Title 1 schools that will not be met due to the lack of funding. I told them not to worry and put them on the calendar so the children could experience walking sticks, giant millipedes, lubber grasshoppers, Madagascar hissing cockroaches, darkling beetles and much more. In other words the greatest show on Earth.

Each Title 1 school is seeking $180 in scholarship funding to bring the Insect Discovery Lab to their classroom. We want every child to be given the opportunity to explore, to discover and be curious about the world around them. Allow us to say yes to these children. Help us provide 25 needed scholarships for this school year.

Remember a $5 donation will bring wildlife to a child’s life!
