Buddy the Beagle Needs His Gallbladder Removed

I adopted Buddy, the 11 year old beagle on August 27 from an older lady who could no longer take care of him. She was not aware of any health issues and he was a happy little dog that no one could believe was 11!

Long story short, at the beginning of October, Buddy started vomiting a lot of mucus multiple times a day. We took 4 trips to the vet in a month, and finally on the fourth ($800) trip, we found out that Buddy has serious gallbladder issues. The rest of his bloodwork and organ function is absolutely perfect, especially for an older dog. He was put on 6(!) medications. Today we took trip number 5 to the vet, because even though he had started to do better, he stopped eating and started vomiting again. He was given two new medications, but we were told if these don’t work, he will need his gallbladder removed. They gave us a surgery quote of $2388.41.

I am a college student who works part time at a doggy daycare and there is absolutely no way I can afford this surgery. I’m doing everything I can to save money (including donating plasma), but I need help. He also has grade 3 (worst being 4) dental issues and needs a full dental and possible tooth extractions while he’s under anesthesia. This price is included in the surgery quote. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated. 

His vet is Ravenwood Veterinary Clinic in Port Orange, FL. They need a 50% deposit before they can even do the procedure
