Bud Dawson was a great coworker, veteran, husband, and friend. Bud loved driving trucks for JB Hunt and he did it well. Bud always had a great attitude and always filled our offices at Mission in Fife, Washington with laughter.
Bud had just celebrated his 8 year anniversary with JB Hunt in June of this year. He was always willing to go above and beyond for his company and his coworkers, a tribute to his outstanding work ethic. Bud was an inspiration, a leader, and he will be sorely missed.
On the evening of July 16th, on his way back from running a route out to Montana, Bud Dawson passed away unexpectedly and way too soon. Bud has left a void in our offices and out on the road, but also has left his loved ones with some financial burdens regarding his cremation and funeral arrangements.
We are trying to raise money for his widow to help with these expenses and hopefully ease some of the strain, although those of who knew Bud know that the pain of his loss will be felt forever.
Bud's loved ones appreciate any help you may provide, but certainly would also welcome kind words and prayers in this dark time.
The memorial service is scheduled for August 5th at:

Services will begin at 10 AM and all are welcome to join us in celebrating the life of our friend, Bud.
