Sybil has been fighting with all her might against stage 4 breast cancer she developed in 2008 and admirably surviving against all odds. Still fighting with every ounce of her will and energy, still thriving, still working full-time at her contracts manager position at ITVS, and still fiercely loving and raising her wonderful 9-½ year old daughter Ayaan as a single mother. All this she carries out on a daily basis despite her increasing weakness, fatigue, pain, and decreased mobility.
All of us who know Sybil are well-aware of her uplifting spirit, her relentlessly cheerful and optimistic attitude, her quick-witted, razor-sharp intelligence, her ready and infectious laugh, her boundless kindness and compassion, and willingness to lend a caring ear or helping hand anytime it's needed. And let's not forget -- she gives the absolute best bear hugs ever known to humanity. When Sybil hugs you, she envelopes you fully in her arms, draws you very close to her heart until you can almost feel it beating, and holds you for a meaningful moment, as if to say, 'You are special, you are more than enough, and I care for you very much.'
Now it's our turn to shower Sybil with the love she has been showing and sharing with us throughout all the time we've been fortunate enough to exist within her luminous sphere. While no amount of money can ever adequately capture the heartfelt concern and gratitude we feel toward Sybil, ANY amount you can contribute will go a long, long way toward energizing Sybil to keep fighting and living life to the fullest. So with this in mind, let’s please join together and help Sybil cross off items on her bucket list.
