The recent opioid crisis has also hit adults in these communities hard, leaving little ones at a loss for a proper role model or a safe place to go when school is out. As a result, these high risk children tend to tune out in school and accept the fact that hope for a bright future belongs to someone else – not them. " Who We  Are: We are STEAMpark, INC., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, whose mission is to provide educational, emotional and wellness support to children in economically disadvantaged communities. With a plan to open STEAMparks every four years in high-risk areas, we’ve begun work on our HQ and pilot site in Keansburg, NJ, rehabbing/renovating a facility one block away from the town’s primary school.
