As most of you may know, my mom and dad have fallen on some hard times.
Yesterday my dad fell after slipping off of a step breaking three bones in his right leg above his ankle and below his knee. He will be having a pretty big surgery to repair the breaks today having plates and hardware put in and will then be down and unable to work for around 4 months. As you can probably imagine, this is going to make their financial hardship difficult since dad is the main income and supporter of himself, my mom and two younger siblings
Mom was just recently diagnosed with breast cancer in August. She had a surgery 2 weeks ago, just to find out that she will now need more extensive surgery due to the cancer having spread a little further than they had thought. They still caught it early and her prognosis is still good, however she will need to now have more surgery, radiation therapy and possibly now also chemotherapy.
Neither of my parents have ever been the type to ask for help and have always worked so hard for what they have. They are the people who would give you the shirt off they're back if anyone needed it. I know that they won't ask for help so I am asking for them. If you are able to help by donating anything at all, every little bit is a huge help and would be so appreciated. Donation funds will go towards medical expenses, bills, meals being put together for them, ect.
