HELP US SAVE LUCKY'S LIFE

This page is dedicated for like-minded individuals who want to help us financially or with any form of help for Lucky. The amount of help we have received has been overwhelming and truly a beautiful thing. Lucky needs a lot of special care and healing which we alone cannot provide for him since we are not in the position, but together we can all help this poor boy get well and change his world; give him a another chance at the life he should have lived. So far the vets we have seen have told us that Lucky's wounds need treatment, and it goes without saying that he needs to be hydrated and fed to bring him back to a healthy weight. He does not have heart worms and we are fortunate and blessed for that. More blood tests have to be done in order to see how he is internally. One of the comments that the vets have made is about his eyes. His eyes seem to have been punctured and are quite infected. Although, we are still waiting about a week to see if it will heal, it has been mentioned many times that, at least, one of them may have to be removed (let's hope not). Besides his fight injuries and open tissue, Lucky could potentially show psychological trauma depending on different factors. He will need special attention and to feel safe and loved. One of the couples that found him has been gracious and selfless enough to shelter him in their home providing him with around-the-clock care with the help of friends and people willing to support. Lucky spends most of the day in his bed resting; saving his energy and only getting up when really needed. We have yet to take him for more tests and see about his eyes and wounds. Like I mentioned before, the amount of assistance has been kind and abundant, but there is still more to be done. We ask that you please find it within you to help us on this mission. Any type of help is welcomed and needed. Please share this so lucky can have more exposure to others like you who want to make a difference. We will do everything we can to save this dog's life and help him find the perfect home with a loving family but we need your help.
